The 2018 Ride was held on June 23rd, 2018 on the corner of Kearney St and Meyers St in Los Angeles, see MAP
We had another amazing year with almost 400 riders. The 2019 ride is now being planned, updates will be posted as they are available.
Please mark your calendar for late June and plan for the event. Please remember on the day of the event, there will be a check in booth to receive a wristband. This is very important as these wristbands identify our participants to LAPD so that riders that might get lost can be redirected to the group by officers without incident, and help our organizers to identify participants and keep people who aren't participants at a distance. Participants are not limited to bicycles, skateboards, skates, solar bikes, scooters, electric assisted bikes, are all acceptable. IF you have an alternative power mode of transportation and want to know if its allowable, please contact us prior to the ride for approval. NO fossil fuel powered vehicles are allowed except authorized support vehicles used to ensure your safety
THE 2018 IS PLANNED TO BE SIMILAR TO LAST YEARS RIDE WITH 2 LOOPS. ONE IN THE MORNING AND ONE IN THE AFTERNOON PUT TOGETHER IN AN EASY TO NAVIGATE ROUTE WITH THE SAFETY OF OUR RIDERS AS A PRIMARY CONCERN. THE 2017 RIDE WAS GREAT AND THOSE WHO ATTENDED HAD A GREAT TIME.
WE HAVE A PRIVATE PHOTO ALBUM AVAILABLE FOR OUR RIDERS TO SHARE AND SEE OTHER RIDERS PHOTOS OF THE EVENT. THIS IS A PRIVATE GALLERY JUST FOR PARTICIPANTS AND IS PASSWORD PROTECTED FOR THIER SAFETY. PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THE PASSWORD WITH OTHERS. Stephanie: My husband and I rode yesterday in the ride, it was an amazing experience! We look forward to joining next year
I was super excited for the event this year. It was great, next year I will be attending with a extended baby trailer on my bike! Husband and I are expecting unless I get clearance from my Doctor then we will be there. Regarding questions about kids attending: I have no problem with it as long as everything is safe and clean and respectful for them.
We as parents must teach our children right from wrong, nature from unnatural.
If we teach them that our bodies must always be cover and it is shameful to do other wise. This event will be a culture shock them, but if we teach them that our bodies are beautiful, we must appreciate them, take care of them and at at times, at the right place, in a healthy environment (and with parents present ofcourse) it's ok to walk unclothed and in natures true form.
We're riding again this year to end fossil fuel dependency, to celebrate our naked bodies, and to proclaim We have nothing to "cover up." May all our congressional "representatives" join us
Kasheenia: Awesome, I cant believe 2018 was the first year I heard of this. I will definitely be back next year
We are grateful to all our business sponsors that have generously helped in keeping our ride going in different ways either by financial support or offering products and services to riders and welcome the opportunity to consider any business or organization that wishes to be a part of our event. Private sponsors are welcome as well. Any donations to help cover costs of organizing the event and maintain your safety, no matter how small are accepted and appreciated.
